Every year I paint flower pictures. There are several reasons for this:
- They loosen me up.
- They remove the need to control
- They are always about love.
I used to have a coffee cup with this Biblical statement on it: “Love is patient, love is kind,” my favorite poem of all time. The full verse is below:
1 Corinthians 13 1
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
And I just found this on the web:
Love means understanding, no agreement. It means forgiveness, no forgetting. It means the memories last, even if contact is lost.
“Where there is no love there is no understanding.” Oscar Wilde
I offer this bouquet just because I love to love.
