Blog: When Did I Get Old?

I was going through my recent art magazines and on line newsletters and came across a photo that stopped me in my tracks. I was reading about David Hockney's new exhibition. And there was a photo of him holding hands with Joni Mitchell at the exhibition. In all the years I have studied Joni Mitchell she has never gotten old - she always remained in her 20's and 30's when I looked at her work. But age seems to catch up with all of us. In one respect I recognize myself in this photo of Joni - when did I get old? As Joni is old in this photo.
