Blog: Not Calculated

In many ways with my ever evolving journeys in life, I try to connect myself to all things “yes.” And, then I try to communicate these “yes-es” to others through my writing and art. Doing that is always wonderful and liberating. If I allowed my journeys to be solely in the service of productivity and efficiency where all my minutes of the day are calculated, then there would never be any time to waste and do things that aren’t worthwhile. So needless to say, my days and the days that make up my journeys in life are filled with both the calculated and the not so very worthwhile things.
I want to be able to look back at all of my journeys and find that I haven’t lost a precious moment or minute doing the "yes yes yes" things in my life. I want to be able to say about yesterday, and today and my tomorrows that I like living and being involved with the rhythms of rainfall, and thunderclaps and the tempos of the seasons. I want to be able to be involved with the moving sunrises, sunsets and the rhythm of the flicker, tap, tap, tapping as she looks for breakfast and calls to her mate.
