Discrimination

Featured image: The Strings We Attach To Things

a word used a lot lately …
I have never under-
stood how it works.  For if one
is discriminat-
ed against – that always
leaves the “other” and then isn’t
the “other” being
discriminated
against.

Are you tall, short, fat, thin, yellow, green, white, black, orange or purple? There will always be something different from you. Well, I hope so anyway. Otherwise,  you will just be a clone or a copycat.  For example, I am short, and old.  I had red hair.  I have been labeled and called many times not very smart. I have been called outspoken and been silenced through force.   Of course, I am discriminated against, of course absolutely – because I am like no other.  I am different and I like it that way.
