Art Comes Easily

So, when I say that I know that I come across as being very sure about certain matters, well, all matters I guess pertaining to the universe. While MacLean’s quote above humbles me – all good things come by grace, and grace comes by art and art does not come easily, because I easily have art in my life. Having art in my life makes me feel wonderfully blessed. So, when I think of MacLean’s statement in reverse; “all good things come by art and art comes by grace and grace does not come easily,” that to me is more real and true. For I wonder about the mysteries and wisdom that come with Grace. I wonder about Grace and just what Grace actually is. My wonder always stops at the blessing of Christ and the forgiveness of my sins. Christ is the very essence of Grace. So, the very idea that I can be sure about certain matters let alone everything pertaining to the universe, makes me become humbled and as I feel His Grace, His wonderful Grace. I know why He gave me art and why art comes easily. It’s so I can constantly wonder and be reminded of the mystery of His Grace. And say loudly, “Praise be to the Lord. Hallelujah!”
