Where Sky and Water Meet

I live very close to Lake Superior and I have family that lives close to an ocean. My favorite times are when I can sit quietly on a beach or rocky shore and look out over the vast expanse of water. I notice how the horizon line is barely distinguishable as the blue of the sky is so like the blue of the water. As I watch, I wait to see how long it is before I take my first deep breath. I feel the gentle peace that flows through my body. What is it about big water and the forever sky that brings this wonderful peace?
