Leap of Faith

Distinction:

“Leap of Faith” was accepted into the 2018 National Juried Exhibition at the Mary E. Koch Center for The Arts (Wichita KS). It also received a purchase award.

“Leap of Faith” found a new home at the Art Expo New York 2018 in the Arblend Gallery booth.

“Leap Of Faith” received a merit award at the Arizona Aqueous XXXII, Tubac Art Center, Tubac AZ. The exhibition is sponsored by the Santa Cruz Valley Art Association and was juried by Joanne Stuhr.

“Leap Of Faith” was awarded a 2nd Place Silver Award & Medallion in the Montana Watercolor Societies National Exhibition “Watermedia 2017” by juror Robbie Laird. Judge Robbie Laird said this about judging art exhibitions, “I search for the individual artist in each piece and for the artist’s ability to communicate. I was intrigued by the new way the artist found to say what is familiar. I always look for an individual and unique voice. What does this artist have to say.”

Juror of Selection & Awards, Robbie Laird, selected “Leap of Faith,” for the 35th Annual National Juried Exhibition of the Montana Watercolor Society.  Juror Laird is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor, West, National Association of Painters of Acrylic, San Diego Watercolor Society, and is a full-juried member of the Society of Layerists in Multi-Media. Her paintings and articles have been in many publications, including Watercolor Magazine, American Artist, and International Touch 3.

This award will now qualify Christine Alfery for signature status.
