Alfery Wins People's Choice Award

Christine Alfery's work "The Pull of Gravity" won the People's Choice award in the SALI National Abstract Art Exhibition XVI at the Garfield Park Arts Center in Indiana.

The Pull of Gravity is part of Alfery's Gears Series. Works from this series have proven very popular with collectors and galleries alike. Many works from this series have been exhibited, awarded, and collected including "The Dam" which was collected so quickly, notification of it's acceptance into the SALI National Abstract Art Exhibition came too late. The show's jurors allowed "The Pull of Gravity" to be exhibited instead, where it was so popular it was recognized with the People's Choice award.
