Being realistic is the most common path to mediocrity.

It sure makes things simple to follow though – that is to follow what is real. I personally believe in objective reality as a baseline for real life morality and ethics and fairness for all. But it sure doesn’t work when one wants to think outside the box and imagine – which is what most creative people do. As I say that I realize that thinking outside the box works both positively and negatively. I guess that is why “to imagine ” is so hard to do ….. and difficult to make real. Ah the life of a creative.
