Aesthetic Moment: What the Silence Brings
Posted on October 30 2020
Sitting in the silence as the morning begins, I completely surrender to where I am and who I am. I become one with the silence and the natural things surrounding me. Including the surrender of my creative heart and soul to a faith in Christ and the freedom he gave to me to be able to do this. It has always been my hope that I be a kind of channel for imagery and representations of these very fluid moments. It is a sweet, very quiet transformation experience. I open the doors to my very being and to the perceptions that come to me. Sometimes and not always I am successful. But the experience of surprise and innovation and the creative journey they offer me is like none other. This is a very blissful experience, and it is very difficult to capture.
“There are moments in our lives, there are moments in a day, when we seem to see beyond the usual – become clairvoyant. We reach then into reality. Such are the moments of our greatest happiness. Such are the moments of our greatest wisdom.” Robert Henri
