Aesthetic Moment: I’m singing in the rain

Raindrops are falling in my coffee this morning.  Cooling the brew.  Cool raindrops are falling on my exposed skin, warming as they slide down my cheek.  Birds still sing in the morning in the rain – perhaps Gene Kelly was inspired by them – I know I am.

I'm singin' in the rain
Just singin' in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at clouds.
So dark up above,
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love.

Let the stormy clouds chase.
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singing,…

The sounds of rain on the canopy of trees such a glorious feeling - so calming.  Thunder above, moving across the sky, trailing off – I’m laughing at the clouds dark above.  The sun is in my heart. As I drink my raindrop coffee and feel, like the leaves raindrops falling on the hood of my rain jacket.

Good morning day.
