“Three Koi In A Pond” was awarded the Outstanding Abstract/Non Representational Award by William G. Hook AWS, NWS, NWWS, CWA the selections judge and the awards judge, 2018 National Juried Illinois Watercolor Society Exhibition.

“Three Koi In The Pond” will be part of a featured article in Southwest Magazine’s January 2018 issue. The article features finalists in the Artists Magazine All Media Competition. So cool, I am so honored to receive this recognition. So honored.

“Three Koi In The Pond” took 5th place in the Abstract category in the American Art Awards 2017 International Juried Exhibition. The American Art Awards are juried by USA’s Best Galleries/Museums. Artists in 56 countries competed. Exhibition is online.

“Three Koi In The Pond,” was selected as a finalist in the Abstract/Experimental category of The Artist’s Magazine’s 34th Annual Art Competition. “Three Koi In The Pond” was chosen out of over 5700 entries. Michael Woodson, Associate Editor of Artist’s Magazine stated that “it is truly an achievement that your work ‘Three Koi In The Pond’ was among the ones to be sent to the jurors.”
